Property developer DMCI Homes is looking to maximize its largest estate located in Taguig City to help the company weather the challenges of the Coronaconomy. DMCI Homes President Alfredo Austria said the company is thinking to build another residential development in the 150-hectare township, three years after it launched its last project in the area. DMCI Homes is the property arm of the listed company DMCI Holdings Inc.

In a statement, “Sales of our projects are still encouraging despite current circumstances which give us the confidence to launch two to three new properties before yearend,” Austria said DMCI Homes is finalizing plans to launch the new property to be called Alder Residences.

“Acacia Estates is always on our list because of the strong residential demand in the area. We’re also currently working on permits to utilize our land bank in Makati and Manila,” he added.

DMCI Homes just recently delivered the first building of the last project it has launched at Acacia Estates—Mulberry Place. The four-building mid-rise development was sold-out just weeks after it was launched in 2017.

Since it was first developed in 2007, Acacia Estates has grown to be a vibrant community of over 8,000 families living in various themed subdivisions and condominium developments.

Its strategic location in a thriving district in Taguig City makes it an ideal living destination for young families and young professionals doing business in McKinley Hill, Bonifacio Global City, Makati City as well as the country’s premier airport.

Spanning approximately 22,000 square meters, Acacia Town Center now houses restaurants, bills payment facility, currency exchange, salons, automated teller machines, coffee shops, commercial gym, a supermarket, as well as event venues like The Tent and the Casa Real heritage house.

Early this month, DMCI Homes opened a new road giving Acacia Estates residents direct access to Circumferential Road 6 (C-6) and Bicutan via M.L Quezon Road. Also being developed is another access road going to Circumferential Road 5 (C-5) via Maria Tinga Road to further make it convenient for Acacia Estates residents to enter and exit the community.

DMCI Holdings Inc. expanded its business organization to include five major subsidiaries, namely: D.M. Consunji, Inc.; DMCI Project Developers, Inc.; Semirara Mining and Power Corporation; DMCI Power Corporation; and DMCI Mining Corporation. DMC and its subsidiaries are engaged in general construction, coal and nickel mining, power generation, real estate development, water concession, and manufacturing.

The Company has a 25% indirect ownership in Maynilad Water Services, Inc. through Maynilad Water Holding Company, Inc., a consortium with Metro Pacific Investments Corporation and Marubeni Philippines Corp.
